about

Pull for the Shore is a full length musical written by Alison Watt and John Pattison. This production was presented in 2009 and featured Sian Harrison, Paul Nash, Jade Nadon and Barry Thompson. The set was designed by Kane Cunningham and was built by Graham Bettis.

The story follows a couple in the process of splitting up, whilst their daughter and one of the employees from the Family's fish and chip shop business try to make sense of two strange ghostlike characters that appear from out of the mist.

Pull for the Shore was originally part of a trio of mini musicals written by John Pattison. These three musicals were commissioned by Sir Alan Ayckbourn as part of the Summer season at The Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round, in Scarborough and presented in 1989. The cast for the original version featured Melissa Greenwod and Derrick Gilbert.
